Growing up during the 50's and 60's in Washington D.C., Nick never imagined then the prominent role that astrology would soon play in his life. During the summer after his senior year in high school, he read three books: The Morning of the Magicians, Man and his Symbols, and The Astrology of Personality. Together they transformed his point of view, and The Astrology of Personality was the origin for a life-long passion with astrology that continues unabated over 30 years later.

In the fall of 1969, Nick attended Stanford University. While he loved the environment, both at Stanford and in California, his interest in astrology grew stronger, and after 3 years, he decided to transfer to Goddard College. Here he could major in the one subject he wanted to pursue. Graduating from Goddard, Nick later obtained a masters degree in transpersonal psychology while building a private practice. He uses astrology as the primary tool to quickly diagnose the source of a problem as well as to assist clients in their search for answers and understanding.

His application of astrology spread to financial markets where he has developed sophisticated and complete methodologies for trading. He enjoys teaching and studying astrology in its many forms. Although he emphasizes a Western approach, he also employs Vedic astrology, or Jyotish, for a more comprehensive perspective.

Preferring a low profile, Nick likes the anonymity that a private practice, teaching, and trading allows. With the advent of the Internet, however, he recognized an outstanding opportunity to present astrology to a larger audience. The goal of Nick, and the other founders of theFutureMinders, is to enhance the understanding and acceptance of astrology by providing many of its tools on our Website and educating the public in their applications. Over 30 years of practice has shown him how astrology-used properly-can produce positive changes for a happier and more meaningful life. He wishes to share this treasure with as many people as possible.
